the Wheal Jane Group we provide a full range of services, covering all aspects of land contamination and ground stability from initial desk studies to full site investigation, engineering and remediation works.

Consultancy originated in the heart of the 20th century Cornish mining industry at Wheal Jane and South Crofty mines.   Crofty Consultancy provides turnkey solutions - from initial searches to site investigation and the validation of remediation work. Our team includes fully qualified Mining Geologists,  Geoenvironmental Engineers and Surveyors, and Historical Mining Researchers.

  • Mine search reports, drawing on the most extensive privately-owned archive of mine plans and surveys in the south west.  We have researched and reported on more than 29000 individual properties in the region
